Sea Turtle Nesting season begins May 1st! We have 3 kinds in Volusia County.  Green Sea Turtles, Loggerhead Sea Turtles and Leatherback Sea Turtles. We don’t want to discourage these turtles from nesting on the beach, so make sure no source of light from your property can be seen at the beach at night.
